I'm not sure how many of you know this but my hubs is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. When we met in 2003, he was still active duty. We met at beginning of the month and almost 3 weeks later, he was deploying to the "sandbox" (aka danger zone Iraq). The deployment was to last 4-5 months. We decided to keep in touch during his deployment and get to know each other better via email and a rare phone call or two. For the past several months, every time we visited Lowes , I always manage to breeze through the washer and dryers. My Maytags are only 7 years old yet we've had to replace the heating element in the dryer and well, my washer rocks and rolls all over the dang place! So, a girl can dream, right? I had the ones picked out that I wanted for when mine went "up in smoke". I wanted both larger capacity than what I already had. A 4.7 cu. in. washer would be able to handle my king-size blanket with no problems.
