Ahhh I think Spring has officially hit my little castle in the 'hood. The windows are wide open allowing all the stagnant winter air to flow out, and bringing the warmth of Spring inside! Seriously, I saw the weather report (but you know how they can be wrong 98% of the time and still keep their jobs) and saw mid 60's to 70 degree temps in my girly land. What does that mean for me? Do you know how a certain song will dredge up some old memories, whether good or bad? That happened to me this morning on my way to work. I love my Sirius in my Jeep. Matter of fact, I don't think I could ever go back to regular radio stations. I jam out to Disco, 70's, and 80's music most of the time. This morning, Donna Summer's Dim All The Lights was on the radio and it instantly took me back to my childhood. My first home, a quaint little ranch on a street with maybe a dozen houses. I've been trying to remain as upbeat as possible about my mammogram of last week, to be honest, it's been worrying the hell out of me. Tomorrow is the day I go to the hospital for more x-rays and an ultrasound. I know, some of you may say "I've been there, done that, it will be ok". Easier said than done, as you know. Last night I tossed and turned and just couldn't get relaxed, not even with the help of my friend Tylenol PM. When I awoke this morning, I felt so horrible and burden with worry, I decided to take a Personal Day from work. Thank goodness for an understanding boss.
